Over 7,000 people gathered at the Gas South Arena in Atlanta ready to praise and worship with Chris Tomlin, UNITED, and Pat Barrett — the opener of the night. The Atlanta-born songwriter warmed up the crowd and performed some of his biggest songs: “The Way,” “Build My Life,” and “Sparrows and Lillies.”

Chris Tomlin kicked off his set with his smash hit “YAHWEH.” The cheers from the crowd could be heard throughout the arena as Tomlin performed his most widely-known songs such as “Our God,” “Whom Shall I Fear,” and “Home,” to name a few. With an extensive catalog like Tomlin’s, it was impossible to perform every song however, the Texas native made sure to give his Georgia fans an unforgettable night. Before he wrapped up his set, Tomlin brought Barrett back out on stage so the two could perform “Good Good Father” — a record the Atlanta native wrote – and “Great Are You Lord.”

UNITED ended the night with an explosive performance and an important message from Joel Houston. As one of the lead singers in the group, Houston revealed they were advised that now wasn’t a good time to tour considering the controversy surrounding the Hillsong church and its founders. However, Houston made it very clear that this was indeed the perfect time to reach the masses and to continue to praise the Lord in the midst of trials.

“If worship was reserved for just the mountaintop, then maybe this wouldn’t be a great time for us to be out here doing this,” he said to concertgoers in Atlanta.  “The truth is — worship is our response in the trenches, worship is our response in the valleys, worship is our response when the whole world falls apart around us, worship is our response when there’s nothing left to hang on to. Worship is our response in the fire, that much we know.”

UNITED performed songs like “Oceans,” “So Will I (100 Billion X),” “Another In The Fire,” and “Know You Will,” to name a few. And, to ensure that Georgia fans received a once-in-a-lifetime experience, all three acts came out at the very end to perform several songs together.
